Bartlett Brainard Products has been providing quality products and service in the Greater Hartford Area for over 80 years and is looking to expand our team! We are seeking a skilled Carpenter with a strong background in various carpentry techniques and adept at working with different materials. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality craftsmanship, and the ability to work as part of a team or independently.
Responsibilities:
- Exterior work including but not limited to window and door installation, custom surrounds and porticos, decks and porches, trim work, decks & general carpentry.
- Heavy lifting of materials and equipment as required on job sites.
- Be dependable, reliable, and consistent by showing up to work as scheduled, on time and ready to work hard.
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in using various hand tools and power tools.
- Understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and best practices in carpentry.
- Experience with window & door installation is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.

- Must have valid driver’s license.
- Must have at least 5 years of carpenter experience.
- Must have reliable transportation.
